LMH6521: LMH6521 Mod pin

Part Number: LMH6521

Team,

I want to check with you about the pin description in the LMH6521 D/S:

For MOD0&1 pin: Digital mode control pins. These pins float to the logic hi state if left unconnected. Pins unused in serial mode, connect to DC ground

By saying "logic hi state", do you mean logic level high or high impedance? And if I want to always choose A3 mode(mode0=1, mode1=1), can I connect these 2 pins by cap to the ground?

Thanks!

  • Hi Qiang,

MOD0 and MOD1 have weak pullup resistors to an internal 2.5-V reference but is designed for 2.5-V to 5-V CMOS logic levels. So "logic hi state", means it is logic level high by default. If you always want to use in parallel mode, then you can connect 0.01uF Cap to Gnd on these pins.

    Thanks and Regards,

    Hruday
