TIPD155: TIPD155 EVM

Part Number: TIPD155
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DAC8563, XTR305, AFE882H1EVM, AFE882H1, AFE88201

Hi team,

My customers are interested in TIPD155 reference design to output V/I on the same board. So I want to ask that is there a EVM board of the whole design based on TIPD155?

Many thanks!

Regards,

Maggie

  • Maggie,

I'm sorry, but we do not have any of these boards available to give to customers. Typically for TI-Designs, we don't build and keep a stock of boards to sample or sell.

However, the TI-designs do come with the schematics, BOM, and gerber files so that the boards can be made by anyone that wants them. You can find them in the website folder here:

  • Hi Joseph.

This's Maggie Li from SHAA1 team, China. We're now recommending some partly discrete solutions like DAC8563+XTR305 for Schneider to fight for AD5413.(have looped you on all relevant emails.) So I want to ask that is it possible for BU to make a EVM of TIPD155 for customers so that we can push them to do some further test?

    Many thanks!

    Regards,

    Maggie

  • Maggie,

I'm sorry, but we're not able to support this request. As an alternative, the AFE882H1EVM uses the AFE882H1 which has a 0-V to 2.5-V output and uses the XTR305 to generate a voltage or current output. While the AFE882H1 is not quite available yet, the EVM is available to support the AFE88201.

If they don't want to use this particular device, they could use this EVM with a different DAC EVM and possibly look at the connections and performance. Regardless, below is a link to the AFE882H1EVM folder.
