    Hi Giora,

    The ambient light cancellation (ALC) feature is used to cancel DC signals instead of using an AC coupling capacitor, so it acts as a high pass filter. The cutoff frequency is dependent on the configuration of the device, including what the gain the device is set as. In the datasheet, Figure 6-9 shows the frequency response for when ALC is disabled and when the ALC is enabled with different gain resistor settings.
