TLV9302: Rating for the input signal

Hi team,

The maximum rating of the signal input pins is specified with respect to the supply voltage.
What happens if the input voltage is applied without power supply?

I understood that there is a clamping diode that is capable up to +/-10mA. So, if there is a limiting resistor the input current is guaranteed to be less than 10mA, can the customer exceed (V+) + 0.5?

When powered off, the decoupling capacitors are discharged, so the supply can be assumed to be zero.

The device will not be damaged by a limited current. But the current will flow into the power supply and might partially power up any devices connected to it. In general, you should instead use an opamp with shutdown, with overvoltage-tolerant inputs, or add a switch to disconnect the inputs.

So, in other word, the device might output even the device is powered doen, right?

Or is the output guaranteed to be 0V?

When the supply is below the recommended minimum, nothing is guaranteed.
