INA381: INA381 alert triggers for surge test

1m ohm shunt is used to measure current. 2 INA381 ICs are used to measure bidirectional current in battery for charge (6A) and discharge (110A). When ever Surge is applied across BAT+ and BAT- . INA381 trigers.

Need support to reduce sensitivity of INA381 or increase over current response time.

    Hi,

    We have other devices with programmable-delay feature, such as INA302, INA303, INA300. Please take a look since one of them might fit your requirements better.

    For INA381, it might be possible to accommodate a delay by adjusting the comparator ref (pin 7) and adding an RC between pins 8 and 9, where you already have the R.

    You could take advantage of TI-TINA for initial assessment. Simulation resources can be found at this link, including models and reference circuit for a quick start.
