INA226: Customer is asking suitable current shunt solution

Hi team,

My customer use INA226 to measure mA level solution.

Currently they would like to measure nA level, so do we have any suggestion?

    Hi Paul, 

    The biggest factor dictating nA measurements would be Ib, bias current. Our INA226 has a bias current of 10uA which would be too high for nA level measurements. Our newer digital power monitors, such as the INA228, INA229, INA237, INA238, INA239 have lower Ib levels of 2.5nA. If this is still too high, then you could explore our precision opamps line for a discrete solution that would allow you to measure lower current levels.
