INA700: DIETEMP out of range at all times

My customer is having an issue with invalid readings off DIETEMP register. Results are around 0x0C00 (-128°C). Other registers, such as current reading, are working properly, so I'd rule out an issue with I²C setup. Double checked the address (0x06) and the ADC_CONFIG settings (set to continuous temp meas). Any ideas we should explore? This is running at my customer's site and I am waiting for my EVM to try to repeat the tests.

Hey Lenio,

This seems like a basic error of omission from the datasheet. It should say that bits 3 through 0 on the die temperature register are reserved, thus you need to shift over the bits by 4 places before converting to decimal. Thus 0C00 --> 00C0 --> 192*0.125C/LSB = 24°C.
