INA219EVM: Documentation for Rev B Version?

Hi all,

I ordered the INA219EVM for testing: https://www.ti.com/tool/INA219EVM

Unfortunately, the INA219EVM I received is the Rev B version. It is not the same PCB as what's pictured on the website. I can't seem to find any documentation about it on the TI website either.

I think I can figure out the connections I need to make based on the PCB artwork, but it would be nice to have a user guide.

Is there any user guide available for the Rev B version?

Hi Cobb,

Thanks for letting us know about this issue.

The team is working on updating the website to contain the new refreshed EVM's information and the new user's guide.

In the meantime, you can take a look at the user's guide for the INA220EVM: INA220EVM Evaluation board | TI.com

User's guide: INA220 Evaluation Module User's Guide

The EVM's are very similar so it should give you most of the information about the INA219EVM's functionality.

You can access the online GUI for the new INA219EVM here: Search results for "INA219EVM_GUI" · Gallery (ti.com)

Instructions on how to use are virtually the same as the INA220EVM. You will need to acquire an SCB board to use the online GUI to plug the EVM to a computer for data collection.
