recommend an amplifier that operates with -50V supply

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OPA455, OPA891

hello,

I am looking for an amplifier (or a design)  that works on a -50V supply and has a slew rate of  ~100V/us.

Thanks.

Giora

  • Hey Giora,

I think the closest thing we have is the OPA455, which is the fastest op amp in our portfolio that meets the minimum supply requirement.

If you are able to lower the supply voltage to 36V, you can meet your Slew Rate requirements with the OPA891.

I've also shared this question with our precision amplifiers team, who may be able to help further.

  • Hi Giora,

I am looking for an amplifier (or a design)  that works on a -50V supply and has a slew rate of  ~100V/us.

-50V op amp is not an issues, but slew rate at ~100V/usec is difficult to come by currently. What is your application? What is the current requirements? what is op amp's BW requirement?

OPA593 will meet the voltage requirement, but not the slew rate requirements.

OPA828 will meet the slew rate requirement, but not the voltage compliance requirements.

-50V voltage rating op amp is considered as power amplifier. If you are able to provide me with additional information, I may be able to suggest a solution.

    Best,

    Raymond
