Hi Dear,

As shown in the figure, is suitable for use with three wire sensors. Is it possible to use it as a two wire sensor? How to connect the circuit? Is there any reference material for 4-20mA that can be learned?

The XTR111 is designed to drop some voltage between the supply and the current output. So it cannot be directly powered from the loop.

The XTR117 is a 2-wire device. Why do you want to use the XTR111 instead? What is the actual problem you're trying to solve?

Hi Anna,

Generally it will be very difficult to use a 3-wire device in a 2-wire system, agreed with Clemens that there is no practical way to use the XTR111 in a 2-wire system.
