Hello TI,
I am writing this to request some missing information from datasheet of OPA2991-Q1. As shown in the below snap shot, datasheet provides the values(typical) of Slew rate and Gain Bandwidth product only at an ambient temperature of 25degC. Could you please provide Min and Max values for the same by considering full operating temperature range of the device ?
Best Regards,
Manoj Turpati
Hey Manoj,
In the TI precision labs video on bandwidth it is discussed that the bandwidth is dependent on components that are not manufactured precisely in silicon. Therefore there can be a significant variance. Over process, there can be a +/- 30% variation, and over the operating temperature of the device, another +/- 30%. We do not provide tested limits for these specifications as this testing these parameters would make the device very expensive.
Best.
Jerry
Hello Jerry,
Thanks for the response ! will it be same for the Slew rate as well ?
Best Regards,
Manoj.
Hey Manoj,
I believe it should, as slew rate is dependent on how fast the amplifier can charge the Miller compensation capacitor. This is the component that can see the large variance. It is also worth noting that the slew rate of this device will be different based on how large of an input voltage differential is applied. A more in-depth explanation of this can be found at the below app note.
