TLC27L2: Electrical characteristics between 0°C and 70°C

Part Number: TLC27L2

Hi,

Regarding TLC27L2C and TLC27L2I, is it correct to recognize that the electrical characteristics at 0°C to 70°C are the same? Since the AVD (@25°C) is different between the suffix "C" and "I", I would like to confirm whether the description is incorrect or the characteristics are different.

  • Hi Nishie,

From a guarantee minimum spec perspective, both devices should expect a minimum of 50V/mV AVD at 0C and 70C. The difference between the two tables are not as big of a value when you look at it from dB values: 116dB vs 113dB, so you should expect to see similar typical performance from both the TLC27L2C and TLC27L2I. Please keep in mind that you may see different typical performance across lots from both devices.

Please let me know if you have further questions.
    Thank you!

  • Hi Ashley-san,

    Thank you for your support.

If "I" product is in the range of 0°C to 70°C, can I assume that it meets the Min/Max of each electrical characteristic of "C" product?

For example, the VIO (max) of TLC27L2I is listed as 13mV (full range), and the VIO (max) of TLC272L2C is listed as 12mV (full range). Am I correct in understanding that when TLC27L2I is used between 0°C and 70°C, the VIO (max) will be less than 12mV?

    Best Regards,

    Nishie

  • Hi Nishie,

The TLC27L2I and TLC27L2C can expect to have similar behavior from 0C to 70C as it is based on similar designs, but because the two parts are have different max spec ranges, we cannot assure a max spec for a different temp range than what the datasheet is stating.
