Hi, I have an INA228 and I want to set it up correctly. However, all the combinations I've tried seem to be wrong. I would love it if you could explain to me how to correctly connect the load, as well as where to connect the inputs.

Hi Maayan,
All detailed instructions on using the INA228EVM can be found in the users guide found here: https://www.ti.com/lit/ug/sbou241e/sbou241e.pdf. Please let me know if you have any specific issues that I can help troubleshoot, I would be happy to help support.
Best,
Mohamed
Hi Mohamed
I looked at the user guide, but I'm still trying to figure out how to connect the load properly. In the guide it is mainly about the shunt resistor.
Maayan
Hi Maayan,
You have two options. Either connect an external shunt resistor, and the load will flow through the shunt resistor and feed the differential input to the EVM:
Or you could solder a resistor on the board where R1 is located and plug in the load current line IN+ and IN-.
Best,
Mohamed
