INA241A-Q1: SOIC8 package release

Hi.

We are using INA240-Q1 in a current design and we are thinking about changing to INA241A-Q1 for the improved performance.

But unfortunately we use the SOIC8 package, not yet availabe for INA241A-Q1

INA241A-Q1 datasheet states SOIC8 package is preview only.

Do you know anything more regarding when the SOIC8 package might be released?

We use SOIC package because our layout needs the pin-to-pin clearance.

Hello Johan,

You can use the INA241A commercial version for engineering samples. The automotive version should be released in the 2nd quarter.

Are there any differances between the Q1 and non Q1 versions of INA241A?
Are they based on the same die and only difference is dokumentation/, location of manufacturing etc,?

Johan,

Functionally they are the same die. I do not know the exact differences of this device but typically they are different test flow, manufacturing flow and material to be able to meet automotive qualification. They are the same die.
