Hi Mokhtar,
Welcome to E2E!
Which package do you need the alternative for?
As Clemens mentioned, the TLE2071A is a drop-in replacement with the same balance pin functionality. We also have the TLE2081 that is the similar family as well.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you!
Best Regards,
Ashley
thank you for this helpful answer; I want to use it as an opamp and as I know LF357 is sensitive to the input as I know the LF357 it's best for sensitivity input because LF357 detects and amplifies very small changes, the LF357 was doing This quite well but now it is not manufactured anymore.
I went the same replacement of this LF357n or better
Hi Mokhtar,
Are you referring to the PDIP-8 package version (through-hole) of the LF357? Are you specifically looking for a pin-to-pin replacement for the PDIP version or open to moving to a different surface mount package?
Thanks!
Best Regards,
Ashley
hi
thank you very much for your replay, I want a pin-to-pin replacement for the PDIP version, replaced with the same characteristics or better than LF357
Hi Mokhtar,
Could you help to explain which specifications are the most important for the application? (i.e. bandwidth, noise, offset voltage, etc)
There are limited options for PDIP-8 that are more recent op amps and I could not find one that matches all the characteristics for the LF357, so it will be helpful to understand what the key careabouts are.
Thank you!
Best Regards,
Ashley
HI
Thank you for your reply, I need it to develop a metal detector I need it for small signal levels and low noise.
Hi Mokhtar,
Thank you for the additional information. With the specific package and spec requirements, the TLE2071A would be the best single channel op amp replacement.
We also have dual channel PDIP options if you are able to spin your board and utilize the additional amplifier. RC4580 and NE5532 are good low noise op amp options.
Please let me know if you have further questions.
Thank you!
Best Regards,
Ashley
