OPA2364: Model for use in PSpice for TI

Part Number: OPA2364
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OPA364, , OPA4991, OPA2991, OPA991

I am trying to model a circuit using this op amp in PSpice for TI. On the product page I've linked, there is an option to download the OPA364 PSpice model, which give me a zip file with a .MOD file, a .sch file and a .slb file. I thought I needed a .lib or a .OLB file to use in PSpice.

Here is where I am downloading: https://www.ti.com/product/OPA2364#design-tools-simulation

If I am able to use these files to import a model into PSpice for TI, how would I go about that?

Any help would be appreciated.

  • Hey Oscar,

You should be able to place the OPA364 model natively from the PSpice for TI integrated library.

Under Place > Search, it will open up the PSpice Part Search

In the search bar, look for OPA*364 and you can double click that to place the part in your schematic.

  • Thanks! I was getting confused because nothing showed up for specifically OPA2364

  • Hey Oscar,

Understood, and that definitely can be confusing. You are able to search with a wildcard in PSpice part search. you can either do a single character wildcard with % or a multi character wild card with *.

If you know what number in your part number is a channel count variation, you can place a wild card in that spot.

For example OPA4991, OPA2991, and OPA991 all are modeled under the name OPA2991. If you just search OPA*991, it will find the correct model.

    I hope this is helpful!

    Best,
    Jerry
