Hello,

Sorry but once a device goes obsolete, we no longer support any of the simulation models. I recommend looking into an amplifier like the OPA4205 as a next generation replacement.

This is the existing DAC circuit using the OPA4234U.

Kindly help me out ( with circuit diagram & simulation ) on how could we replace this existing circuit with the next generation amplifier OPA4205.

We can help with a sim. but we don't provide sims. with other supplier's devices. If you'd like I can see if we have a DAC that can replace AD7564? Also, we don't have the supply voltages, can you tell us what the supply voltage is?

Ok..kindly check for an alternate DAC and help out for sim. Supply voltage for DAC is +5V.

What are the supply voltages for the amplifiers? We need to know both the positive and negative rails. If it is 5V and GND, then I will have to change the recommendation of OPA4205.

The supply voltage for OPA4234U amplifier is +15V and -15V.

I recommend using the DAC8822 built into TINA as an example of a comparable MDAC in this application.

Hi Suganya,

With a supply voltage of +/- 15V, the OPA4205 is a great option. Regarding the DAC, I agree with Paul that the DAC8822 is a good replacement.

I replicated your circuit in TINA and put the model of the DAC8822 in a macro block. I also set the filter cap (C1) to 5 pF and moved the 200-ohm Riso outside of the feedback network to improve stability.

Hey Suganya,

To analyze the closed loop response of the circuit with respect to Vref, I added a voltage input above the DC source and ran the AC transfer characteristic. E2E_DAC8822_Acl.TSC

From the resulting bode plot, the closed loop system appears to have a bandwidth of around 600 kHz.
