INA238: Does INA238 support timeout for SMBUS?

Does ins238 not have a timeout for SMBUS?

I tried to look it up on the data sheet, but I couldn't find it.

Hello Youngson,

Yes, There is an SMBUS timeout for the INA238, as the INA238 follows SMBus 3.0 transfer protocol. Looking up the protocol, it looks like the maximum time for timeout is 35ms, so the INA238 will timeout by then.
