Hi Shin,

Could you please share how you measured these two signals? Depending on the measurement, this could be the reason you might be getting a slight difference from the input signal's rise time and the output signal. I was also looking into the distorted portion you highlighted, and it does not appear to be out of the ordinary when you compare it to the input signal. It is amplifying the input so any slight deviation in the input will only be amplified at the output, which appears to be the case here.

I used the Keysight digital oscilloscope DSO-S 104A and the Agilent active probe N2796A.

There could be a chance that the probe is affecting the measurements slightly different. There is no obvious reason why the amplifier output will be faster than the input. Could you share the rise times for the input and output signal you are calculating to see how drastic it is?

The rise time of the input signal is 2ns, and the fall time is 4ns, while the rise time of the output signal is 1.6ns, and the fall time is 3.5ns.

Thank you for providing that information. Seeing the 0.4ns difference, it could be the probe affecting the signals. Is there a way you could use an SMA cable directly into an oscilloscope to measure your input/outputs, this removes any error caused by probing the nodes.
