Dear all,

sadly KiCad does not support encrypted SPICE models. Is there a possibility to get an unencrypted model?

Hi Felix,

I will discuss your request with the Modeling team. To the best of my knowledge, there is no immediately available unencrypted SPICE model; but will ask for an update.

The current encrypted model works with PSPICE for TI or TINA-TI.

Hello Felix,

Thank you for this feedback - we recognize the unencrypted model would be valuable and your post here helps confirm the need. We have this model in our queue, but don't have a finalized release date yet. I would estimate it will still be 2 more months before it becomes available, but we'll reach out again when it is released.
