AMC1301: lack of information in the datasheet

Hello all,

Please I would like to know if a technical documentation exists, explaining tests of AMC1301 datasheet.

Indeed, for example, SNR is @ fin = 1kHz and BW = 10 kHz. I understand I have to input a sinus wave of 1kHz , and i have to measurre with FFT the SNR on output. But What does "BW = 10kHz" mean?

Moreover, i don't understant VCMov, VCMOUT, VFAILSAFE, VFSR. Is there an understanding documentation in Texas Instruments which make these partcular acronymous clear please?

Thank you for quick reply Eva but your documentaton is about standard logic and AMC1301 is an isolated amplifier.

Do you know if there is such a clearly documentation for isolated OP AMP, telling how to test SNR, VCMov, VCMOUT, VFAILSAFE, VFSR?

Hi Eva,

Thank you for helping me, unfortunately, no information has explained what is SNR, VCMov, VCMOUT, VFAILSAFE, VFSR for an isolated amplifier.

I've watched videos on Isolated amplifiers and modulators but nothing on these parameters.

If someone can tell me what kind of document explain it clearly I would really be happy

Hi Yohann,

I think figure 7-2 in the datasheet will help to explain most of these parameters better. SNR is a commonly used metric to measure noise. Hope this helps!
