LM393: SUSPECT DIGITAL ITEM EVALUATION

Part Number: LM393

LM393 is not the part I need support with

SCL1107-NO is but it does not show up an option.

Please provide the description of this integrated circuit, SCL1107-NO. A datasheet would be best. Does it have digital content (software, firmware, processors, microcontrollers, programmable memory, programmable logic devices, and any other embedded digital devices (EDDs)).

  • Hello Arturo,

SCL1107-NO appears to be a broker part number. TI does not sell by these part numbers and does not support devices purchased through brokers.

The many sites say SCL1107-NO is from "NS" (National Semi) in a 20 pin DIP - which is not correct for the LM393 (8 pins).

Can you get the actual manufacturer orderable part number? i.e, "LMxxxyy".

If the end device is a LM393 or any of it's family, it is an analog microcircuit and does NOT contain any "software, firmware, processors, micro-controllers, programmable memory, programmable logic devices, and any other embedded digital devices (EDD)s". It is just a dumb analog comparator.
