Hi,

There are some question about THS7376, please help to answer.

1. Which topology is recommended for THS7376 application?

2. If we use below topology, what trace impedance value is recommended?

(BMC Layout guide recommend this topology trace impedance is 50 ohm.)

Does there have any suggestions with this two topology?

Hello ChaoKai,

The THS7376 has a high input impedance and a low output impedance. While 75 Ohms is typical for video termination due to the coax cables used in analog video, if the circuit is entirely on PCB then you can use a more standard impedance such as 50 Ohms.

As long as you properly terminate with resistors you can use either topology. If the recommendation is 50 Ohms from BMC, you can use that impedance here.
