VCA5807: SDOUT no response when SPI read/write.

Part Number: VCA5807

Hi TI

i use VCA5807 to connect MCU by SPI interface, i found the SDOUT no response when i entry SPI read/write test, i key command but read value always no meet write! so  i check log from UART of MCU

i write : 0x04ef,  but read alwayse is 0xf5f5

the SDOUT (pin.83) alwayse keep low when i use scope to measured it! in the meantime i check SDIN and CLK work is normal, could you have some suggestions or comments?

  • Hi,

To get the read working first we need to verify the SPI write . As you have probed those to verify MCU is giving signal . Can you write global powerdown and check the supply current to verify your write is working ?

Device have to be in the readmode when you want to read . This readmode is set through register write . I hope you are doing this.
