INA233: INA233 vs INA231 register different

Hi,

I was using INA233 on my board and have developed associated driver for it.

I would like to switch to INA231 part. I wonder if there they have compatible registers mapping? If there is anything we should be take care of for the swapping in SW?

Hi Yolanda,

Unfortunately the INA233 is quite unique in terms of its register map and not many devices have compatible register maps. You could use our SysConfig for the INA226 has a guideline for C code as it has a very similar register map to the INA231: https://dev.ti.com/sysconfig/index.html?product=ascstudio&module=/ti/sensors/currentsensor/INA226.
