INA226: Maximum quiescent current consumption

Hello,

In the datasheet, the maximum quiescent current is specified as 420uA. However, in figure 17, the current is shown to exceed 420uA when the I2C frequency increases past 1MHz.

Was the 420uA maximum determined using 400kHz I2C speed? Do you have a spec for the maximum quiescent current if the device is operating at maximum I2C frequency and maximum temperature?

The quiescent current is measured when the I²C bus is idle.

Figure 17 shows only the typical current; you'd have to estimate the maximum. In any case, with active I²C, the power consumption is dominated by the current through the pull-up resistors.
