AMC3302: Simulation running slow and incorrectly

Hi,

I am using AMC3302 Spice model in Simmetrix and it seems it is running very slow. Also the main problem is it is not generating the HLDO out which is very essential for operation of this chip. I think I have connected it as per datasheet.

We support TINA-TI and PSPICE for TI simulation models. These are available on the product page.

I think it is not Simmetrix or Pspice tool issue, it is the model itself I feel is incomplete. Can you please double check?

Hi,

The model seems to work in PSpice. There might be an issue with Simmetrix running the model, or some corruption in the model when it was imported into Simmetrex.

Can you please send me this model?

Also are you able to do AC analysis and find out the end to end bandwidth using pspice models? I think the isolation can cause some problems in AC analysis?

Hi,

The model I used can be found on the AMC3302 product page (linked at the top of the page) under the 'Design & development'->'Design tools & simulation'->'AMC3302 PSpice Model'.

I ran an AC analysis and didn't have any issues.
