Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UA733, TL592B
Hi,
I'd like to know if the uA733 is a direct replacement for the NE592? From the datasheets it seems like it is except for these discrepancies;
1. Input resistance ranges
2. uA733 has a third option for voltage gain
3. Pins 1 -14; 3-12; 4-11; 7-8; seems to be swapped i.e NE592 defines pin 14 as IN+ etc
We are presently using a NE592 in one of our designs and I'd like to replace it with an uA733?
I physically (for trial purposes) replaced the NE592 in the circuit with an uA733 and saw a considerable gain increase and a better frequency response. The signal seems considerably cleaner (in terms of noise) too. I'd really like to use the uA733 but I need to be able to justify quantitatively the replacement.
Thanks
