LMH6611: High current amplifier

Part Number: LMH6611
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: THS3491, OPA2675, OPA891

Tool/software:

Hi team,

Do we have higher current amplifier but with similar spec with LMH6611? LMH6611's 100mA drive current is not enough.

  • Hello Naizeng,

I can certainly recommend a higher output current drive amplifier from our portfolio.  What additional specifications of the LMH6611 are you most interested in?

    For example:

    - What are your bandwidth needs?

    - What supply voltages will you be using?

    - Would you condsider a current-feedback op-amp (higher bandwidths at high gains, higher slew rate, not as good offset voltage & bias current)?

    - Do you have specific package-size, multi-channel, or cost needs?

    - Are noise, distortion, and/or rail-to-rail input/outputs important to your application?

To start I would recommend our OPA891/892 family of devices, which have single & dual channel op-amp packages.  I would also recommend looking at THS3491 and OPA2675 if current-feedback amplifiers would work in your application.

    Best,

    Alec
