TLV2376: solution for output stable

Part Number: TLV2376
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM2904, , OPA2330

Tool/software:

Hi,

Customer schematic is as below.

RnD is tested with LM2904, OPA2330 and TLV2376 respectively. The results are as follows.

In order to obtain a more accurate output waveform, the TLV2376 with better specifications is selected. The result is that the output waveform is the worst.

Is there any suggested solution to make the output of the TLV2376 stable?

Thanks & best regards,

  • David,

Stability issues result from capacitance on the amplifier output or capacitance on inverting input of op amp with respect to GND.  I agree with you that this looks like a stability problem.  Stability problems generally show up as undesired oscillation in the amplifier.  I think it is likely that Vout in the circuit shown is connected to a capacitive load.  Can you check to see what the amplifiers output is connected to?  For test purposes, you could disconnect the amplifiers load.

    Best regards, Art
