INA139: Error Calculator Missing

Hello,

I'm thinking about using the INA139 for a high-side current measurement. As a design aid I remember there was an online calculator once before to do that.

Now I can only find an Excel spreadsheet (CS-AMPLIFIER-ERROR-TOOL) for such calculations. Unfortunately, the INA139 is not listed in this table.

Why is that and is there another tool for INA139 error calculation?

    Hello Appreciated Engineer,

    There may have been some incompatibility with using the INA139 on this tool, I do not know. But it does seem like it should be on there.

    I do happen to have an INA139 error calculator using same methodology as used on the comparison tool.

    Your spreadsheet helps a lot and I can work well with it. But the CS-AMPLIFIER-ERROR-TOOL doesn't contain the INA139 in the drop-down list. Maybe you want to double check. The INA169 is missing as well, maybe because of the missing gain adjustability of the other parts...

    Hey Thomas,

    I am aware that INA169 is also missing. You are correct, the adjustability of gain makes them incompatible with the calculator tool. 

    Really sorry about that, but you can still compare the error plots using the calculator I have provided, which uses same principle equation as the tool.
