THS3217: the problem with large signal input

Part Number: THS3217

Tool/software:

Hello! the input signal is differential signals, common mode voltage is 0.7V, differential mode voltage is  a 500mV-amplitude negative pulse signals at the baseline of 1V. The THS3217 design is  based on THS3217 EVM users guide page 6, power supply is +-6V and we only use D2S functions.

But the output signal from Vo1 is as follows, any ideas about the peaks on the tail. Thank you!

  • Hello Yuan,

Thank you for sharing test details and scope shot! A few additional questions

    1. Were there any modifications to the default EVM? If your schematic is different, please share your schematic as well.
    2. What is the rise/fall time of your input pulse? And frequency or pulse duration?

    Best Regards,

    Sima
