LM25183:Power supply circuit.

Part Number: LM25183

Tool/software:

The LM25183 is used to make the power supply circuit.

Input:24VDC Output5VDC

When noise is applied to the input in IEC61000-4-4 Fast transient / Burst test, a noise waveform will appear at the output.

Is there any way to reduce the noise in the output waveform?

Please contact us.

  • Hi Kimihiko-san,

Thank you for posting. Could you show the complete schematic including the entire input filter, and also share some key waveforms including the VIN and Vout?

    Best Regards,

    Youhao

  • Dear Youhao

    Thank you for contacting us.

Waveform images could not be prepared.

The input depends on the specifications of the test.

    Voltage(Level3):2,000V

    Pulse:75

    Burst Period:300ms

    Burst Duration:15ms

    Test time:1min

    Frequency:5kHz100kHz

The output voltage is not constant and sometimes reaches about 10V - 100V.

    Best Regards,

    Kimihiko Yanagisawa

  • Hi Kimihiko-san,,

Did you attach two pictures illustrating the issue?  They seem being corrupted and I cannot see them.  From your description, sorry I don't understand where the 2000V is applied to the circuit. I don't think you mean 2000V being applied to the VIN pin because the IC has an absolute max voltage rating of 100V at the VIN pin.  Could you help clarify?

    Best Regards,

    Youhao
