LMV652: schematic review

Part Number: LMV652
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TINA-TI, , TLV9062

Tool/software:

Hi Team,

1. Could you please review the schematic and give some comments?

2. The input is a connector, can the interface guard meet the requirements?

Performance requirements are as follows:

a. The input signal is 40KHz sine wave, the magnification required more than 350 times;
b. Achieve the narrow band bandpass filter at 40KHz;

Thanks.

  • Hey Ivy,

    I built this circuit in TINA-TI, and the gain seems correct.

    However, I would not populate C42, as this will negatively impact phase margin. Additionally, I would add a series resistor before the 220pF capacitor on the output. I would start with 100Ohm and increase as necessary. IN+ and IN- also have different impedances connected to them, this will cause a roughly 8mV offset in a bipolar amplifier like LMV652. If this is concerning for the customer they can either match impedances or they can switch to a CMOS device like the TLV9062.
