INA500: Could INA500 for LVDS or MIPI applications?

Part Number: INA500

Tool/software:

Hi,

I recently looking for information on which can apply with signal amp.
The related specification (Spec) is briefly described as follows:

1.signal amplitude voltage: 0.8V amplifies to 2V.
2.Frequency (bandwidth): 3Gbps.
3.signaling type: Differential pair.
4.Protocol: Compatible with LVDS or MIPI applications

In addition to the INA500, do you have any more recommended parts?

Thanks a lot!

Jenny

  • The INA500 does not have a proper differential output, and its maximum frequency is 0.000125 GHz.

I am not aware of a device that would be a good match for this.

Where does the requirement of 2 V LVDS come from? Is this really the amplitude, or the common-mode voltage?

  • Hello Jenny,

Could you share more about the signal/waveform?  I would like to know about any test patterns, noise & harmonic distortion targets, and what the load (line) impedance would be.  Is this CAT6A unshielded twisted pair?  What is the impedance we would be driving with the FDA?

We have FDAs which are capable of driving fast wireline signals, but I need some more backing information.  Please also share the available powers supplies for the FDA.

    Best,

    Alec
