LPV811: Nano power op amp stability

Part Number: LPV811
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: PSPICE-FOR-TI, TINA-TI

Tool/software:

I am interested in using this op amp, however is there any good tutorials that explain the inner workings of these amplifiers i.e. they have very low GBWP. Is there a behavioural model anywhere?

  • Hi Edward,

The LPV811 is a nanopower op amp with 425nA/channel. The low GBW is expected since a tradeoff in analog circuits is speed and power; a lower quiescent current usually corresponds to a lower speed (GBW).

There is a model available for TINA-TI and PSpice-for-TI on the product page of the device: LPV811

Please scroll down to "Design & Development" and click on "Design tools & simulation"

There, you will be able to download the SPICE models.
