Does the INA225-Q1 permit connecting its power supply pin (Vs) to either side of the current measurement shunt (IN+ or IN- pins)?

Thanks for the question and using the E2E forum.
As Clemens mentions, you can connect the supply pin to either side of the shunt, as long as you take into consideration the voltage ratings of the pins. Because the supply and common-mode input range are separate from each other, you shouldn't have any problems.
The only thing you'll need to be aware of is if your current being measured changes, the drop across the shunt will change, therefore changing your supply voltage at the pin. It may not be too much, but you'll then be introducing additional PSRR error in your measurements you may want to account for.
