That depends on what you want to test. DC characteristics use a DC signal; frequency-dependent characteristics typically use a sine wave.
This device has already been tested after manufacturing. If you want to test basic functionality afterwards, you would typically configure it as a voltage follwer and test multiple voltages or a sine wave; if you do an in-circuit test, you might be only able to test it as a comparator.
Josh,

Hi Ron,
Thanks for your reply. There is no waveform captured by oscilloscope in datasheet.
I need your support on test waveform to show TLV9002-Q1 is an Amplifier rather than a buck converter or gate driver. Sine wave input is okay.
Thanks!
Josh
Configure it as a voltage follower (connect OUT to IN−, directly or with a resistor), apply any analog voltages to IN+ (directly or with a resistor), and check that the output voltage is the same.
To detect an opamp, two DC voltages (0.5 V or 4.5 V) are enough; these two voltages are chosen to rule out comparators (which would go fully to the rails) or opamps without rail-to-rail I/Os (which would not be able to go near one or two rails). But if you do this manually, you could just as well use a sine wave (0 V … 5 V peak-to-peak) at any supported frequency (up to 200 kHz; see figure 7-11).
Josh,
What has lead up to this question? It is in the top five of the "I can't believe they are asking for this moments" in my long career.
Hi Roland,
Please check the email with subject "EVT - test waveform for LM2903B/LM2904/TLV9002-Q1. Please reply with a waveform captured on oscilloscope following below requirement.
Requirement:
5V power supply, input & output signal.
Thanks!

LM2904 is no longer in my group. I'll transfer post to them.
