We are working on a project with the INA818 and at frequencies below 100 Hz. We would like to know if we are using the right approach and if the noise value in dBV/sqrt(Hz) corresponds to your test value.Request_Texas_Instrument.pdf
Hi Leila,
Welcome to E2E!
I am a bit confused how you derived the equation for total input referred noise for the INA. In order to calculate voltage noise, you need to take into account both 1/f and broadband noise and root-sum-square the two values.
Then you can take the current noise calculation and root-sum-square this component to get the total input referred noise of the INA, before you multiply by the gain.
Please see the video here on calculating op amp total noise for more information: https://ti.com/video/4078839879001
You can also verify your calculations by using TINA or PSpice to simulate the noise performance.
Regards,
Ashley
