LMH6639: SD shutdown mode Output Impedance and Capacitance

Part Number: LMH6639

Tool/software:

In LMH669 if shutdown the op-amp ,then what is the output impedance and "Cout" value.

If short the output of  two op-amp's output, then if shutdown one op-amp ,what about the another op-amp out signal  and is it wouldn't  to be disturbed ?

  • Hello Baskar,

When the part is placed in shutdown mode the output comes in a high impedance state and is unable to keep the inverting input at the same level as the non-inverting input. We do not have the exact impedance value characterized. However, even though the amplifier is in high impedance state during shutdown, there is still a DC path to the input of the amplifier through the feedback resistor as shown in the figure below: (Cout is used to break this DC path during shutdown)

Page 15 in the application notes section of the datasheet titled "INPUT AND OUTPUT TOPOLOGY" goes into more detail.

    Thank you,

    Sima
