INA250EVM: Output not expected

Part Number: INA250EVM

Tool/software:

Hi everyone,

I am working with the INA250EVM, specifically INA2503EVM, and I am seeing some strange behaviour on the Vout when using this sensor to measure the current flowing through a resistor. First of all, using the following set-up, the PSU is outputting at 5 V and the resistor is 68 Ohm. I am expecting a current of 0.074 A (both from Ohm's law and from the display in the PSU).

When I put a voltmeter across V out and GND I read 4.998 V, but I would expect to get 5 + 63 mV (5 V +800 mV/A x 0.074 A). On the other hand, when I measure with this set-up:

I read 4.942 V (I would expect 5-0.063 V= 4.937 V). This is an error of ~5% in both cases, which I don't think makes much sense!

I have also tried the following set-up

and I am reading 58 mV.

Am I understanding something fundamentally wrong? This doesn't seem to make much sense to me.
