Other Parts Discussed in Thread: INA238
Tool/software:
We are using the INA238 current-sensing IC in a high-volume project. In our application, we need to completely disable the Alert signals via software without physically accessing or modifying the existing units.
To achieve this, we have written the reset value to the ShuntOverVoltage (SHNTOL) register. However, we have not accessed, read, or written to any other registers.
Could you please provide guidance on the following points?
- Does resetting the SHNTOL register alone completely disable the Alert pin, or are additional steps required?
- Are there any other default-enabled alarms that might still trigger the Alert signal?
Your support and guidance on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Best regards,
Batuhan
