Tool/software:
Dear Support Team
The product page for the INA241B-Q1 lists a gain option of 500V/V, but this is not mentioned in the datasheet. Is there an IC model number and datasheet available for a device with a gain of 500V/V?
Thank you very much for your assistance.
Best regards,
The INA241B6(-Q1) has never existed, and the INA241B without -Q1 does not list this variant. This appears to be an error on the web page.
The nearest replacement would be something like the INA280-Q1/INA281-Q1.
Thank you for your response.
I understand that it is a typographical error on the web page.
However, the ICs you suggested can only detect unidirectional current, correct?
If there are any alternative current sense amplifiers that support bidirectional current sensing, I would greatly appreciate it if you could let me know.
Here is a list of automotive, bidirectional current-sense amplifiers with a gain of 500: ti.com/amplifier-circuit/current-sense/analog-output/products.html#773=500&1498=Automotive&2192=Bidirectional (The INA241B-Q1 entry is wrong.)
I do not know what characteristics you need. There is no solution for common-mode voltages above 40 V; the INA253-Q1 supports 80 V with an integrated shunt resistor.
Hello Meran and Clemens,
Thanks for pointing out the error. I will request it get fixed on the web. As for other devices I agree with Clemens.
Regards,
Javier
