AMC1350: the recommeded ESR value of capacitors

Hi team

There are two questions. Could you help these?

- As the datasheet recommends a low-ESR caps as below figure, could you tell what value of ESR are recommended? I hope to get the answer that less than xx Ohm is requried.

- Could you also confirm that the AMC1350EVM's schematic & layout follow on the Figure 10-1 in the datasheet?

    Hi Takahashi-san,

    There is not a specific ESR requirement for the capacitors. This is just intended to ensure the proper capacitance is provided to the device to allow for fast start-up timing. 

    Please refer to the AMC1350EVM for questions. Figure 10-1 is correct.
