INA211: output current maximum capability, confuse on datasheet figure 5-10

Hello expert,

My customer is asking for INA211 output current capability. I checked previous post there is one reply related to this topic, link is shown below.

For my customer's reuqirement, V+ = 18V and output is 8V. May I know what is the maximum current capability based on below's figure? Thanks a lot!

  • Hello Ann,

    If you know the output current needed, you can calculate the voltage drop. I found an older version of the datasheet that has a version of the plot without formatting errors:

    So for your situation, using the second red plot, you would see an approximately 1V lower swing limit when you are pulling 12mA from the device.
