  • The datasheet value of input referred noise voltage and noise current are measured results using the circuit of Fig. 6 and include the noise contribution of VCM common mode path, if any:

    It is expected that the voltage applied to the VCM input is capacitively decoupled (low pass filtered, e.g. 0.1uF shunt cap) to eliminate any noise added from that voltage node.

     

    I know that this was not the question but, application Note AN-1719 states that the output noise of a CFA FDA (like LMH6554) is dominated by the input referred current noise * RF. So, it does look like one need not concern himself with any additional noise contribution from the VCM path.
