OPA365: pin to pin compatible part(s) for OPA2365 for a higher gain-bandwidth

Hi Zhonghai,

To amplify a 50MHz signal from 0.9V to 3V, one would need a gain of >3 and large signal BW of >50MHz. Hence, OPA2830 will fall short of the required GBW.
We have a range of voltage and current feedback amplifiers to support this; I need few more inputs to suggest the right amplifier here that is P2P with OPA2365. 

1. Are you giving a 50MHz sine wave signal?
2. what is the precision required? do you need similar voltage offset as OPA2365 or is the signal AC coupled?
3. What is the Supply voltage?

Here is a search for two-channel, voltage-feedback opamps with a GBW of at least 165 MHz:

You might need to add more filters, depending on the answers to the questions above.

Answer:  I want to amplify a TCXO output (Clipped sine given in Figure 1) to drive a clock buffer (ADCLK905, data sheet is here - https://www.analog.com/media/en/technical-documentation/data-sheets/ADCLK905_907_925.pdf), which outputs logic signal.

Answer:  The OPA can output square wave or Clipped sine like the TCXO. The output is AC coupled.  

1. What is the Supply voltage?

Answer:  The supply is 3.3V.

Hi Zhonghai,

You can use OPA2356 which is P2P with OPA2365. Also, I am moving this thread to clocks team to provide a sine to square wave and other alternatives.

Dear Clemens,

I tried as your suggestion. The TCXO cannot drive the 100ohm load at the ADCLk905 input. The TCXO output current is only 2mA.
