I am doing consulting work for a Japanese Start Up. They need an amplifier with 24V output swing driving a transformer (effective impedance ~10ohm).
Analog Devices has a nice part (ADA4870) that looks like will be meeting the spec without requiring an external class AB stage. Only concern about it might be the availability issues.
I would like to use a TI part, do you have a part with similar specs? THS4631 and THS3091 look closest TI can offer, but looks like they will still require an external stage and there is no thermal shut down.
If there's not a single amplifier product you can recommend, do you have one with application notes or reference design with external BJTs or FETs? Ideally we would like to have thermal shut down or overload current protection as well.
