Hello Norair,
thanks for reaching out in E2E.
The datasheet is specifying a maximum storage temperature of 125°C in the Absolute Maximum Ratings section (8.1).
The TPSM828511 would be an alternative device, which is newer and is supporting a storage temperature of up to 150°C.
Best regards,
Andreas.
Hi,
Is there a part we can utilize similar to the TPS82671 with 150C storage temperature. The TPSM828511 is an adjustable output and would require additional components. It’s package is also different then the BGA package we currently utilize.
Thanks.
I also found the relaibity and qualification data for the TPS82671SIPR on your web-site that indicates that it was tested to 150C.
This indicates that the unit will function at the 150C storage temperature, correct me if I am wrong.
Thanks.
Hi Norair,
we don't have an alternative fix Vout device similar to the TPS82671 with storage temperature up to 150°C.
The 150°C was used for the qualification tests to accelerate the aging, so that the results can represent the whole IC lifetime requirements. It does not mean that the regular storage conditions can be 150°C.
If you don't mind, could you please let me know the desired end equipment and the reason for the need of 150°C storage temperature? If possible I would like to forward this feedback to our development team to consider such a use case for future IC designs. Please let me know.
Thanks and best regards,
Andreas.
Hello Norair,
thanks for your feedback.
At the moment adjustable output voltage devices would be the only alternative I can offer with 150°C storage temperature and they would also be in different packages than the TPS82671.
Let me know if you have further questions.
Best regards,
Andreas.
