Hi Matt,

We recommend grounding the exposed pad as this will significantly improve the thermal performance of the device. A large PCB plane is ideal for the connection to this exposed pad, which is usually the ground plane for most PCBs.

See section 9.4.1; it is isolated, and you can connect it to any voltage.
